In support of Mrs. Obama's "Let's Move!" campaign to curb childhood obesity, the National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation (NABEF) is coordinating a "Let's Move! Flash Workout" featuring 16-time Grammy Award winner Beyoncé. The American Association of School Administrators (AASA), the National Middle School Association (NMSA) and the National School Boards Association (NSBA) have partnered with NABEF in this effort.

Educators are on the front line of raising awareness of what can be done to address childhood obesity. Participation in the May 3, 2011, "Let's Move! Flash Workout" event is just one way to educate children about the importance of eating well and exercising to live well.

The information in this Educator Toolkit provides resources for participating in the May 3 Flash Workout event and to help you teach children about the importance of embracing a healthy, active lifestyle.

Additional material will soon be added to help stations continue communicating the "Let's Move!" messaging beyond Flash Workout day. Suggested activities and links to other relevant resources will be included.
