Exploring Two Next Generation Platforms: ATSC 3.0 and The Digital Dash

The broadcast industry is constantly changing with technology to improve how they operate and reach consumers through both TV and Radio. The newest shift is in how, when, and where content is delivered to consumers. Those tuning in will enjoy a series of interviews, video demonstrations and discussions on the following:

  • The challenges & opportunities that Radio faces with The Digital Dash
  • What ATSC 3.0 can do for the consumer?
  • Understand the ways that ATSC 3.0 and the Digital Dash will they transform content delivery & consumption.

The webcast serves as a capstone project for the class after completing a six-month apprenticeship, receiving exclusive training and industry exposure to prepare them for examining this technological development.

About the Technology Apprenticeship Program (TAP):
TAP is a six-month program designed to expose high-tech graduates and professionals to the broadcast industry. The goal of the program is to provide participants with an opportunity to learn about latest trends in broadcast technology, receive hands-on training at a broadcast station and contribute a fresh perspective and innovative ideas to the industry.
