2016 WYXT-FM Southfield, Mich.
Since 2012, WXYT-FM’s Student Heart Check program has helped raise money and awareness for student athletes at risk of Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy – an acute, life threatening heart condition. Through fundraising efforts the program has reached the goal of purchasing a mobile cardiac unit which will increase the availability of these life-saving screenings.
2015 KEX-AM Tigard, Ore.
Since 1987, the KEX Kids Fund has provided eyeglasses and hearing aids to children whose families cannot afford them in Oregon and Southwest Washington.

WHUR is rooted in the concept of “It Takes a Village.” Using that theme in 2010, the radio station wrapped numerous service programs around the Washington, D.C., region’s neediest kids.
2010 KSTP-FM St. Paul, Minn.
Through the KS95 for Kids Radiothon and other activities, KSTP-FM has raised more than $10 million for the Children’s Cancer Research Fund and Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare.
2009 WLEN-FM Adrian, Mich.
Every day, WLEN serves children of all ages in their community. The station sponsors a number of events and initiatives for children, including youth-produced PSAs, student internships and special broadcasts.

First held in 1999, the annual KS95 for Kids Radiothon is a year-round partnership between KSTP, Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare and the Children’s Cancer Research Fund.

WLEN is consistently there to meet the needs of local children. The station hosts numerous events and activities throughout the year to help children learn and grow.

The KVAK Kids Club engages local school children, in the 4th through 6th grades, in activities to help promote community service.
2005 WBAL Baltimore, Md.
Through WBAL’s “Radio Kids Campaign,” millions of dollars have been raised to satisfy the diverse needs of children through summer camps, neighborhood family centers, meals, toys, transportation and so much more.
2005 Special Recognition WLTL-FM LaGrange, Ill.
WLTL-FM, a non-commercial radio station wholly operated by local high school students, broadcasts daily in partnership with the local Ronald McDonald Children’s Hospital to provide uplifting programming for sick children.
